INNOspace Masters 2025: international innovation competition "Energise Our Future – Cross-Industry Innovations Linking Earth and Space"

INNOspace Masters is the international innovation competition organised by the German Space Agency at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in cooperation with ESA, Airbus and OHB. Launched in 2015, it is open to companies of all sizes, start-ups, research institutions and universities, as well as individuals from all over the world.

The overall theme for the 2025 round of the competition is: "Energise Our Future – Cross-Industry Innovations Linking Earth and Space" The competition promotes ideas for the transfer of technology and expertise from other industries to the space sector (spin-ins/New Space) or from space to non-space sectors (spin-offs). 

Under the overall theme, the competition offers five different challenges to participate in:

Challenge 1: German Space Agency at DLR Challenge: "Igniting Applied Research for Cross-Industry Innovations"
Challenge 2: ESA BIC Challenge: "Join the New Space Economy"
Challenge 3: ESA BA Challenge: "Accelerating Energy Innovation through Space Solutions"
Challenge 4: Airbus Challenge: "Boosting Earth-Space Industry Partnerships"
Challenge 5: OHB Challenge: "Design the End-to-End Space Solutions of the Future"

The winners receive access to funding opportunities, networks and support services to develop their ideas into innovative products and services.

Submission is open until 24 March 2025.
