The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) invites applications from early-career researchers across various disciplines to participate in the 15th Brazilian-German Frontiers of Science and Technology Symposium. The event, jointly organized with the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES), will take place from November 6 to November 9, 2025, in Mannheim, Germany. The theme of this edition will be "How to Improve Model Robustness."
The symposium aims to foster international collaboration and engagement among early-career researchers from Germany and Brazil across a wide range of disciplines. Designed to promote the exchange of ideas across both disciplinary and national boundaries, the event features a format that encourages in-depth discussion and debate, with ample time dedicated to these interactions as well as other networking opportunities.
The 2025 symposium will include the following sessions:
- Generative AI and its impact on immersive technologies
- Generative AI in industry and the future of labour and agriculture
- Ethics, laws and the ESG in the Generative AI Revolution
- Enhanced scientific research with Generative AI
Each of the sessions will draw on the broad range of disciplines and expertise present to improve the dialogue between GenAI and machine learning, and the fields of biomass valorisation and bioprospecting for the bioeconomy.
