All interested researchers and general public are cordially invited to join the open part of the annual meeting of the German-Ukrainian Academic Society, which will take place in Dresden on Thursday, 4 October 2018.
The German-Ukrainian Academic Society was founded in 2016 with the overall aim to foster cooperation in science, higher education and research between Germany and Ukraine. At the open part of the annual meeting you will:
- hear an invited lecture by Prof. Jochen Fornasier (Goethe-Universität Frankfut/ Main), a member of the Society, entitled “Searching for clues with high-tech and spades: German-Ukrainian excavations in the ancient city of Olbia Pontike/ Spurensuche mit Hightech und Spaten: Deutsch-ukrainische Ausgrabungen in der antiken Stadt Olbia Pontike (Mykolajivska oblast)”;
- hear the presentations from the finalists of this year's PhD Thesis Presentation Contest;
- have an excellent opportunity to network with other researchers from different areas of science.
