The Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST), the Research Centre German Language in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (FZ DiMOS), the Chair of Slavic Philology - Linguistics at the Institute of Slavic Studies at the University of Regensburg and Andrássy University Budapest (AUB) are organizing a hybrid workshop on cooperation with Ukraine in the humanities from 24-25 October in Budapest.
Against the backdrop of the war, the continuation and further development of cooperation with Ukrainian universities is of essential importance in addition to support for students and teaching staff who have fled. This year's event intends to contribute to the development and deepening of cooperation with Ukraine in the humanities, specifically with Ukrainian universities that have been particularly hard hit by the war and have had to be evacuated or are located near the front line. It will focus on topics such as multilingualism, digital humanities, and digital education, but is also open to other thematic contributions.
The workshop is aimed at interested lecturers and researchers in Bavaria, Ukraine, Hungary, and neighboring countries.
BAYHOST is also supported at this event by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, in particular by DAAD lecturers.
