The German Conference on Bioinformatics (GCB) is an annual, international conference devoted to all areas of bioinformatics. Recent meetings attracted a multinational audience with 250 – 300 participants each year.
The GCB 2014 is organized by the bioinformatics groups of Bielefeld University in cooperation with the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA), the Special Interest Group on Informatics in Biology of the German Society of Computer Science (GI), and the Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM).
The meeting is open to all fields of bioinformatics. Satellite workshops are planned that will take place on 28 September 2014 and are part of the conference program.
