The conference was organized under the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and it took place in Vilnius from 30 September to 1 October.
The conference in Lithuania covered the issues related to the EU current policies on R&D&I and Eastern Partnership dimension and the future plans for Horizon 2020, as well as sharing good practices among different Member States and Eastern Partnership countries.
Among the participants was also the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

The Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union conference “Enhancement of European International Cooperation and Eastern Partnership in R&D&I” (EEP 2013) focused on cooperation in R&D&I on the international level with special emphasis on Eastern Partnership (Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan) in the context of European Research Area, Innovation Union, Europe 2020 and Eastern Partnership Roadmap.
