The challenge is open to students of European fashion, design and technology universities and colleges, trainees and junior professionals, as well as freelancers and start-ups applying individually or as teams. August 1st is the deadline for submitting applications.
Finalists are invited to develop quality prototypes of their concepts in the Fashion Fusion Lab in Berlin, before presenting them at an exclusive awards show during the Berlin Fashion Week. A jury of top-class industry representatives then selects the winners.
The winning team will receive a €20,000 cash prize. The second- and third-place finishers will receive €10,000 and €5,000 respectively. Moreover, the winners will have access to the Fashion Fusion Network including hub:raum, partners as well as tech and fashion professionals, and they might also have the opportunity to develop their concept until it is ready for market.
