The German-Arab Master's Programmes (GAMP) are a Project financed by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and jointly implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) and the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD). The Project comprises four German-Arab Master's Programmes which are aligned with the priority areas of German-Arab development cooperation: Water, Economic Reform, Energy and Education.
The study programmes are targeted at young professionals wishing to enhance their knowledge regarding cooperation with and in the Middle East and North Africa Region, develop new professional perspectives, or contribute to the intercultural exchange with particular focus on the Arab world. The German-Arab Master's Programmes aim at young professionals and future decision makers who equally acquire scientific expertise and intercultural competence as well as the capacity to take over a relevant role for the German-Arab cooperation. Currently, over 200 GAMB graduates are forming a considerable network of relevant technical, regional and practice-oriented expertise.
