HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management is introducing a European Career Track (ECT) for its full-time MBA program from September. The move means MBA students with sufficient language skills will be able to undertake internships in France, Germany or Italy as part of their course of studies, giving them a deeper insight into other European business locations.
The ECT is the result of cooperation within the framework of JOINUS, a pan-European network set up in early 2009 by HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management (Germany), Audencia Nantes School of Management (France), and MIP Politecnico di Milano (Italy). One of the network’s main goals is to see the business schools work jointly on career placement and recruitment to offer new MBA graduates even better job opportunities. The ECT is growth-oriented and the schools intend to expand the network by other partners over the next three years.
The MBA students on the ECT profit from access to the local career networks of the partner schools and from the support and involvement of other, local MBA students. HHL’s goal is to improve further its graduates’ profile on the European job market while raising awareness of its brand among European businesses.

The English-language MBA programs taught at HHL are among the best independently-developed programs of their kind in Germany. The Financial Times ranked the full-time MBA as the best in Germany and in 34th place in Europe. HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management
HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management was founded in 1898 as Germany’s first business school. It was re-established in 1992 as a private, state-approved institution with university status, i.e. it may grant doctoral and habilitation degrees. Today it is considered one of the leading business schools. In addition to its international focus, the synthesis of theory and practice is central at HHL. Furthermore, HHL has set itself the goal to educate effective and responsible business leaders through its “Integrated Management” approach. The maintenance of accreditation for a further five years was granted in April 2009.
