It is currently possible to apply for three types of measure within the context of two announcements:
- Mobility measures,
- Exploratory measures and
- Pilot measures.
1. The funding of mobility measures for the initialisation of knowledge-based partnerships for sustainable solutions with Sub-Saharan Africa
This is the first announcement by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of mobility measures with Sub-Saharan Africa between September 2011 and September 2012. In the core area, this involves the establishment or expansion of new contacts between German and African researchers.
2. and 3. The funding of research partnerships with Sub-Saharan Africa for exploratory and pilot measures
For the second time since 2010, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research is funding research projects between German and African researchers. Funding shall be provided for exploratory and pilot measures
