Dr. Bernd Riggers, President and CEO Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen, explains his motivation to support NIT: “I am fascinated by NIT’s study program and would like to deepen our cooperation; not only by providing internships at Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen but also by donating the Study Award.” Lufthansa Technik is a long-time partner of NIT and has already provided six scholarships for NIT students in Hamburg. The Study Award at NIT China awarded by their branch in Shenzhen acknowledges the students’ success in their first academic year.
The Vice President of NUAA, Prof. Prof. Wang Yongliang, welcomed the guests at NUAA and remarked in his speech: “The Sino-German College is a very good platform which promotes the educational and cultural exchange between Germany and China. This form of cooperation further enhances the efficient usage of fine resources, making a good integration of social wisdom and power.”
The Lufthansa Study Award has a sound significance to all the students and to this program. For the students, it is a recognition for their continuous efforts at academic study and for their positive attitude serving other classmates. The award is still a large encouragement to all the students, motivating them to make more efforts in their future academic studies and finally become an internationally competent talent.
