Research opportunities in Germany: German area at the Naturejobs Career Expo 2016 in San Francisco

The German area at the Naturejobs Career Expo offers the opportunity to learn about vacant PhD and postdoctoral positions in Germany and to meet a delegation of seven German universities and funding organizations.

Naturejobs Career Expo is a career fair which introduces researchers to potential employers in the fields of life sciences, medical sciences, chemistry and physics. The fair will be held on 27 April from 9:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Contemporary Jewish Museum, 736 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States. The expo is free of charge and open to registered candidates (http://www.nature.com/natureevents/science/events/40775-Naturejobs_Career_Expo_San_Francisco#map).

The German area at the Naturejobs Career Expo has been organised by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as part of the collaborative project “International Research Marketing”. For the campaign “Research in Germany”, the German Academic Exchange Service, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Research Foundation and the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft initiate various international events and communication measures funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to strengthen and expand R&D collaboration between Germany and international partners.
