The National Statistics Act and the programmes of statistical surveys (annual and medium-term) represent the legal framework for the operation of the statistical system in Slovenia. Authorized producers are also involved in carrying out some specific statistical surveys. The Director-General of the Statistical Office is Ms Genovefa Ruzić.
