The Ministry of Education and Science of Moldova has various tasks:
- To promote the objectives and principles of higher education integration into the European education system
- To organize and coordinate the activity of its institutions
- To supervise the creation of new educational institutions’ networks (proposals on their reorganization and improvement)
- To develop methodologies and coordinate the administration process (promotion of graduation cycles of higher education institutions)
- To coordinate the process of vacant positions replacement, management of scientific-educational positions (university professor, associate professor)
- To organize the evaluation of specialized manuals for higher education.
