KAST is an organization founded on 22. November 1994 to promote the development of science and technology through the use of knowledge and through the expertise of its member scientists and engineers who are distinguished in their respective professional fields. The Secretariat of the Association of Academies and Societies of Science in Asia (AASSA) is managed by KAST.
