Slowakische Rektoren Konferenz

The aim of Slovak Rectors' Conference SRC (slovak: Slovenská rektorská konferencia; germ.: Slowakische Rektoren Konferenz) is to coordinate and promote rectors’ activities at Slovak universities in order to create a common higher education policy. SRC coordinates and promotes the cooperation between the rectors of Slovak universities; discusses and formulates its opinion on substantive issues related to the higher education policy, proposals of generally binding legal norms that are directly affecting the life of universities or discusses and formulates its opinion on the applicable legal standards with the above focus; creates conditions for cooperation between the universities in Slovakia and for a mutual flow of information among them; establishes and maintains contacts with foreign countries, the rectors' conferences in other countries, other rectors’ associations, as well as with the European University Association.
