20 mill NOK for Indo-Norwegian cooperation on energy research
India and Norway have launched a joint call for bilateral Indo-Norwegian research projects, aiming to achieve world-class scientific results.
Under the Agreement of Cooperation in Science & Technology between India and Norway, the Indian Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Research Council of Norway (RCN) have launched a joint call for bilateral funding of Indo-Norwegian research projects in mutually agreed fields.
A budget of up to NOK 20 million (equivalent to EUR 2,4 million) in total will be available from the RCN for allocation in Norway, and an activity matching funding is available from India. The total budget from the Indian DST will cover activity matching funding and in-kind contributions for a mutually agreed number of projects.
Norwegian funding for this call for proposals is part of the two RCN programmes INDNOR and ENERGIX.
