Australisch-Deutsches Zukunftsforum zur Solar-Energie

The first Australia - Germany Solar Future Forum hosted by the Ambassador of Australia, Mr Peter Tesch, and presented by the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), brings together Australian and German experts from research, education and industry.

The Forum will highlight the global opportunities and challenges facing the solar industry, and explore the latest developments in photovoltaics. German and Australian experts from research and industry will discuss joint solar initiatives that seek to address international energy concerns and increase innovation, research, development and commercialisation in both countries.

The Forum will open with a keynote address from Scientia Professor Martin Green, University of New South Wales, Executive Research Director of the University’s Photovoltaic Centre of Excellence (Sydney, Australia). Professor Green and other leading speakers from Germany and Australia will provide important insights and perspectives into the future trends of the solar industry as part of this World Environment Day event.
2012 marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Germany. The Australia - Germany Solar Future Forum is an ideal opportunity to highlight the enduring scientific, academic and investment relationship between two leading economies looking towards a clean energy future.
