The CHOP-C workshop is part of the Germany-India 2011-2012 -Infinite Opportunities- programme (http://www.germany-and-india.com/program) and the first of two meetings where German and Indian scientists shall meet to exchange knowledge and ideas related to the topics of air pollution and climate change. The workshop in Pune will focus more on air quality, monsoon and climate interaction related aspects, while the second workshop (to take place in Delhi in October/November 2012) will emphasize climate science.
