Das internationale Symposium "Timing of Affect" versammelt vom 30. Mai bis 1. Juni an der Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (KHM) rund 20 Wissenschaftler/innen aus unterschiedlichen Disziplinen und Institutionen – von der Philosophie über den Film, die Musik, den Sound, Medien, Kunst bis Technik und Neurologie – um aktuelle Aspekte des Affektiven zu erörtern. Das Symposium wird begleitet und kommentiert von einer Ausstellung des kanadischen Künstlers Chris Salter unter dem Titel "Atmosphere", die am Mittwoch, dem 29. Mai, um 19 Uhr in Glasmoog, dem Ausstellungsraum der Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln eröffnet wird.
