Labs21 Annual Conference

Zeitraum: 27.09.2010 - 29.09.2010 Ort: Albuquerque Land: USA

The Eleventh Annual Conference of the Labs 21 Program is convening in Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 27-29, 2010.   OES Assistant Secretary Dr. Kerri-Ann Jones is scheduled to be a keynote speaker at the conference.

Each year, Labs 21 highlights recent advancements in laboratory efficiency and performance, providing the laboratory and high-performance facility community with a unique forum for information exchange and education.

The event is attended by 600 – 800 professionals and provides a unique opportunity for directors of research institutions (medical, academic, national standards and other fields) to meet U.S. counterparts, with the possibility of building institutional relationships.

Tours of the Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Sandia National Laboratory are being organized for conference participants. Additional information on the event is available at: http://www.i2sl.org/labs21/conference/www.i2sl.org/labs21/conference/.

If national representatives do plan to participate and would like to meet the Assistant Secretary, that request should be forwarded to Diana McCaffrey (McCaffreyDA(at)state.gov).
