DJW Seminar "Japanese and German Companies Facing Globalization – The Challenges of Internationalization and Recruiting Young Talents"
Globalization does not only influence economic interaction between countries and companies – it also increases the demand of internationally experienced and highly qualified employees and, at the same time, opens new opportunities of recruiting them.
With this seminar, the Deutsch-Japanische Wirtschaftskreis DJW focus on the challenges in terms of recruitment that globally acting companies both in Germany and in Japan face during the process of internationalization. Which effects does globalization have on the methods and corporate policies of recruiting young talents? Specifically: Which importance and significance do for example internships have? And, on the candidates’ side: Which language skills, educational background and expertise are required when applying for a job in an internationally operating company?
With this seminar, DJW would like to especially address students with interest in building a career in the German-Japanese business environment. Job offers currently available at DJW German-Japanese job pool can be viewed during the seminar. At the same time, DJW would like to give employers the opportunity to establish contacts with potential employees and to get an insight of candidate profiles registered in the job pool.
