The Rappaport Family Institute for Research in the Medical Sciences was established in 1982 through the support of the Rappaport family to promote excellence in biomedical research within the Ruth and Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine of the Technion.
During more than three decades of activity, the Institute has established itself as an internationally recognized research center and counts several world-renowned scientists among its members.
The institute provides support to individual researchers and four thematic Cores: Cancer Research, Neurosciences, Functional Genomics and Organogenesis.
