This year the 6th International Scientific Conference titled "Energy and Climate Change" of the PROMITHEASnet will take place at the premises of NKUA on October 9-10-11, 2013 in Athens, Greece.
This year the Conference is oriented to "Policy Portfolios for emerging economies". In the frame of this topic the outcomes of the FP7 funded project "PROMITHEAS-4: Knowledge transfer and research needs for preparing Mitigation/Adaptation policy portfolios" will be presented in a special session along with proposals for the optimization of these portfolios for the countries that participate in the project. The outcomes concern the Mitigation/Adaptation policy portfolios for twelve (12) countries (Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine).
The Scientific Committee invites scientists, researchers, PhD candidates and policy makers from all over the world to participate.
