"This award confirms the high level of education at the Belarusian State University and recognizes our graduates in the international arena," the University said.
Alexander Bondarenko graduated from the Chemical Faculty of the Belarusian State University in 2002. He received his first international award from the Elsevier publishing house for his publication in the journal of the International Society of Electrochemistry (ISE), Electrochimica Acta, in 2006. Now Alexander Bondarenko leads a team of young researchers at the Center for Electrochemical Sciences, Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
The International Society of Electrochemistry was established in 1949. The organization now comprises about 2,300 individual members. Its members come from more than 60 countries. Nine high-ranking journals are published under the aegis of the organization.
