In September 2010, the European Cluster Policy Group will present its final reports and recommendations to the Commission and Member States on how to better support the development of more world-class clusters in the EU. Its chairman, Tea Petrin, former Minister of Economy of Slovenia and professor at the University of Ljubljana, has accepted an interview with Europa InterCluster.
She reminds us that we should pay more attention to the needs of companies that make the cluster. Her recommendations regarding the role of policies: learn from best practices that emerged primarily through bottom-up process and create framework conditions enabling clusters to achieve excellence.
