ICT Proposers' Day 2014
The ICT Proposer’s Day is a free networking and research promotion event organised by the European Commission and different Italian partners, and takes place in Florence on 9 and 10 October 2014.
The main focus lies on networking and promoting research and innovation on the field of Information and Communication Technologies within the framework of the Horizon 2020 programme for 2015. Academia, research institutes, industrial stakeholders, SMEs and government actors from all parts of Europe are invited to build quality partnerships during this event. The following activities will take place:
- Information sessions on how to prepare and submit a proposal
- Topic information stands where European Commission officials provide up-to-date information on the topics of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2015 and content of the calls for proposals
- An European Commission ICT information desk
- Networking sessions where potential proposers for the Work Programme 2015 present their project ideas
- Meeting point booths for people interested in the same research topics
- Space for informal networking and bilateral pre-arranged meetings between participants.
