The global R&D response to COVID-19 has been widely praised in recent weeks, but for projects and programmes deemed ‘non-essential’, the picture has been very different. In this Science|Business 'Research Futures' webcast, R&D leaders from across Europe will discuss the disruption the crisis has brought to their organisations, public and private, and explore possible solutions and safety nets to ensure that the short-term impacts on universities do not result in permanent damage to R&D systems.
