Zweiter JEUPISTE Project Innovation Workshop: "Smart Communities” in a broader term"

The FP7 project, “Japan-EU Partnership in Innovation, Science and Technology (JEUPISTE) is engaged in various activities to reinforce Europe-Japan cooperation in science, technology and innovation (STI), including contribution to STI policy dialogues, information services, organization of seminars, workshops and training courses. A series of “Innovation Workshops” has been launched as part of the project activities, aiming at active partnership building through a broad, overarching theme of “Smart Communities”. This workshop No.2 is twinned with the No.1 in Brussels on 13 October 2014. While Workshop No.1 focused on the upstream side of the innovation value chain, identification of issues, ideation, and team building, Workshop No.2 will look at the downstream side, getting funding and bringing research results into market, especially in the ICT related fields. Involved target group: 50 managers both from academia and industry and multipliers including policy makers.
