EGHAC - European Green Hydrogen Acceleration Center

Netzwerke in Forschung, Technologie und Innovation

Managed by EIT InnoEnergy and supported by Breakthrough Energy, the European Green Hydrogen Acceleration Center (EGHAC) will advance the green hydrogen sector to speed climate neutrality, by developing €100 billion a year green hydrogen economy by 2025.

EGHAC is an initiative driven by the industry, for the industry and backed by Breakthrough Energy with its large global network of associated investment funds and other programs. It is a network of entities founded by Bill Gates and the world’s top tech and business leaders to speed the transition to a clean energy future.

EGHAC focuses purely on accelerating the uptake of green hydrogen in Europe – generated only with renewable sources such as wind or solar – as a key pillar for decarbonising heavy industry, energy and transport sectors.
