Science|Business exists to bring together three worlds which should work together but too often stumble apart: industry, research and policy. The Science|Business Network of universities, companies, and research and policy organisations is a forum for driving innovation forward. The network organizes meetings and publishes newsletters and reports that utilise its expertise and knowledge of European policy making.
Network members also choose policy areas on which they wish to focus in greater detail, meeting privately and publicly to produce high-impact position papers. These Focus Areas currently include the present and future EU Framework programmes Horizon 2020 and FP9, health (under the banner of Healthy Measures) and the science cloud.
