The National Institute for Science and Technology Policy and Strategy Studies (NISTPASS) was established in 1996 through a merger of two predecessors.
Affiliated with the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), it is tasked with conducting studies on various topics, such as the identification of priority areas for science and research and the development of financing mechanisms for research and innovation. Also, NISTPASS contributes to the development of strategies and participates in the implementation and evaluation of policies.
