The goal of the Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility Partnership (CCAM) is to create a more user-centered and inclusive mobility system, increasing road safety while reducing congestion and environmental footprint. Therefore CCAM plans on doing more collaborative research, testing and demonstration projects in order to accelerate the innovation pace and implementation of automated mobility.
CCAM has the following ambitions:
- strengthen competitiveness of European industries
- increase safety in road transport
- reduce negative impact from road transport on environment
- ensuring inclusive mobility and good access for all
CCAM aims to contribute to key policy goals like the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Vision Zero, the European Green Deal, Europe fit for the Digital Age and the Smart and Sustainable Mobility Strategy.
CCAM is a co-programmed Partnership under Horizon Europe.
