The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) is a governmental agency which performs functions of State management on science and technology. Related areas of responsbility include intellectual property; standards, metrology and quality control; atomic energy, radiation and nuclear safety.
Two funding agencies affiliated with the Ministry are the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) and the National Technology Innovation Fund (NATIF).
The Ministry also has responsibilities for the research and development organization National Center for Technological Progress (NACENTECH).
The Ministry is supported by the National Institute for Science and Technology Policy and Strategy Studies (NISTPASS).
