Europäische Forschungsinfrastruktur für Religionswissenschaft und Theologie RESILIENCE: Transnationale Forschungsstipendien 2025–2026

Stichtag: 01.12.2024 Stipendien

The goal of RESILIENCE Transnational Access (TNA) is to facilitate direct, fast, and effective access for scholars to the objects of their research. TNA hosts grant access to their collections of manuscripts, rare books, documents and materials. RESILIENCE also provides a unique match-making service, matching TNA scholars with relevant experts who can provide tailored expertise.

TNA users can visit institutions in a country other than the one in which they reside. TNA users will have free access to the collections, as well as tailored support from the institution, and assistance from local experience scholars relevant to the user’s research.

Scholars from Europe and from countries associated to Horizon Europe can apply for a fellowship at one of the RESILIENCE TNA institutes (excluding those institutes located in the same country as the nationality of the applicant):

  • Early- and mid-career level scholars who require direct access to specific documents and materials in our hosting institutions in order to complete their analysis.
  • Researchers who would like to take advantage of both access to collections as well as local expertise.

Users spent typically two weeks at the host institution, meeting experts and scholars, the curator of the special collections, conservator and restorers, etc.

Current TNA hosts are:

RESILIENCE’s coordinator FSCIRE (Bologna, IT), Archivio Generale Arcivescovile di Bologna, AAB (Bologna, IT), Bar-Ilan University (Ramat Gan, IL), Bektashi World Center (Tirana, AL), CIRCSE (Milan, IT), ITSERR Consortium in Modena and Reggio Emilia, Naples, Palermo, Pisa, Turin (IT), J.A. The call will close December 1, 2024. In 2025 there will be two more calls, namely open from March 15, 2025 – May 1, 2025 and open from October 15, 2025 to December 1, 2025.
